Horn soloist Eric Ruske was named associate principal horn of the Cleveland Orchestra at the age of 20. He won the 1986 Young Concert Artists International Auditions at age 22 and, in 1988, the highest prize in the Concours International d'Interpretation Musicale in France. Pianist, composer, and conductor Stephen Prutsman was a medal winner at the Tchaikovsky and Queen Elisabeth piano competitions and the recipient of an Avery Fisher Career Grant. One of the most versatile and innovative musicians of his generation, Stephen was appointed Co-Artistic Director of the Cartagena International Festival of Music in Columbia in 2007. Violinist Jennifer Frautschi was selected by Carnegie Hall for its Distinctive Debuts Series and made her New York recital debut in 2004. As part of the European Concert Hall Organization's Rising Stars Series, she debuted at ten of Europe's most celebrated concert venues. Included in the program will be Brahm's Trio for horn, piano, and violin.
