Bridget Kibbey, harp

Harpist Bridget Kibbey, winner of the 2007 Concert Artists Guild International Competition and recipient of an Avery Fisher Career Grant, captivates audiences with masterpieces and new works that stretch the boundaries of her instrument. She most recently joined the roster of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center II program and will perform as a member of the society for the next three seasons. Profiled in "SYMPHONY," "MUSO," and "Harp Column" magazines, Ms. Kibbey has premiered works by Pierre Boulez, Elliott Carter, and Augusta Read-Thomas, and performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Kimmel Center, and the Tanglewood, Spoleto, and Lucerne festivals.
