What is CAIF?
Clemson Area International
Friendship (CAIF) is a community organization which coordinates
hospitality and support services for foreign students, faculty
and visitors in the Clemson area. CAIF is a Community Section
of the National Association for Foreign Student Affairs.
Goals of CAIF
To provide services
for foreign students, faculty, and visitors in order to help
them adjust to life in the Clemson area; and to provide opportunities
for social interaction and educational exchange between community
members and foreign students, faculty and visitors.
CAIF Mission
The mission of Clemson
Area International Friendship is to provide a mutually supportive
and positive experience for both the international visitor and
the community member. CAlF members want to become goodwill ambassadors
to all our international friends.

International
Friends Program
This program offers
the opportunity for community members to become friends with
foreign students, faculty, and visitors. Being a friend does
not require providing home stay; instead, it involves helping
visitors adjust to the Clemson community by inviting them to
share meals, visit in your home, tour the area or take part
in any number of similar activities.

What Can CAIF Do For You ?
CAIF
