Course Description

In the lineage of Pattabhi Jois, Ashtanga Yoga is not only a series of postures but also a user friendly philosophy to inner peace and calmness. This course will focus on these teachings along with the primary series of yoga asana.

Course Objectives

The focus of this course will be on the primary series of yoga asana as described by Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras. Although the class will be centered on the physical practice, there will be a major emphasis on philosophy and written assignments.
