Leisure Skills - Golf

Course Description

Beginning golf introduces the rules and etiquette expected when playing golf as well as an opportunity to develop the fundamentals of a mechanically sound golf swing. Putting techniques, chipping, and strength/flexibility training is also introduced.

Course Objectives

  • To gain knowledge and be able to apply golf terminology, Rules and etiquette
  • Each student will complete three skills test on putting, chipping & pitching, and full swing evaluation
  • Each student will receive a moderate level of individual attention to assist the development of his/her golf swing
  • Each student will play two 9-hole rounds of golf.
