Paranoia Strikes Deep In
Student-Directed Theatre Production

Set in a sleazy Oklahoma motel room, Tracy Lett’s “Bug” is a wild ride into paranoia, drugs and conspiracy theories. STUDENT COUNCIL

The student council serves the Department of Performing Arts and the Brooks Center in advising the Chair of the Department and the Director of the Brooks Center. This year's student council, as nominated by the ensemble directors are:

Jessica Burkhart, a senior majoring in Mathematical Sciences with a minor in music, Burkhart has been a member of the Clemson Symphony Orchestra for three years.  She has served as the cello section leader for three semesters and is currently the president of the orchestra. Elizabeth Harvey
, a junior majoring in Production Studies in Performing Arts with a concentration in theatre, Harvey has been active in the theatre program on several levels, including stage management and acting.  As an actor, she has performed in the “Vagina Monologues” at Clemson University, “The Crucible” at the Oconee Community Theatre and “Dirty Work at the Crossroads” at the Clemson Little Theatre.  Elizabeth can be reached at eharvey@clemson.edu.

Ashley Semsar is a senior majoring in Marketing with a minor in Communication Studies, Semsar has been active in Clemson’s choral program for three years where she has served as the publicity assistant and currently as the president of the Choral Council. Semsar is a member of the Delta Delta Delta service sorority and a member of the Clemson University Student Alumni Council and Student Senate. Ashley can be reached at ashleysemsar@gmail.com.

Deborah Threadgill is a senior majoring in Production Studies in Performing Arts with a concentration in music (piano). Threadgill has been an active flute player in the university’s music program for three years.  She has performed in the Clemson University Marching Band, Symphonic Band and Pep Band.  Deborah can be reached at dthread@clemson.edu.
