Alan Cade Award
This cash award honors an outstanding upperclass band member (who plans to return to the band program the following year) for his/her musicianship and dedication to the band program, as chosen by the directors.
Clemson University Bands Grant-in-Aid Program
Grants-in-aid are available to students participating in Clemson University band-related activities, primarily the Basketball Pep Bands. The amount of the grant-in-aid is determined on an annual basis based upon available funding and specific needs of the band program. Recipients must maintain membership in good standing in the band program. These grants-in-aid will be awarded annually to students who have successfully completed an audition and who have (or predict) a 2.0 grade point ratio. Students must carry and maintain at least 12 semester hours of course work each semester.
Clemson University Tiger Band Association Award
This annual award is presented to the Tiger Band commander in recognition of his/her dedication and service in a leadership role.
Clemson University Tiger Band Association Scholarships
These endowed scholarships, provided by a gift from the Clemson University Tiger Band Association, are given each year to students in the University band program. Recipients of these scholarships must maintain membership in good standing in Tiger Band during the fall semester and Symphonic Band during both semesters of the academic year. These scholarships are awarded to outstanding musicians who have demonstrated unusual leadership capabilities as well as dedication to the Clemson band program. Students must have (or predict) a 2.0 grade point ratio and must carry and maintain at least 12 semester hours of course work each semester. An audition is required, and the award can be renewed each semester.
Bruce F. Cook Award
This award is presented each fall by the Clemson University Tiger Band Association to the most dedicated Tiger Band member, as selected by the members of Tiger Band.
Bruce F. Cook Scholarship Endowment
A scholarship in recognition of Dr. Bruce F. Cook's service as Marching Band director and Director of Bands at Clemson University is available for outstanding Clemson band students. Students must participate in Tiger Band and Symphonic Band. An audition is required, and the award can be renewed each semester.
Friends of the Brooks Center Private Lesson Scholarships
These scholarships are available to band and orchestra members, by audition, to pay for private lessons with Clemson University adjunct professors. Membership is required in the Clemson University Symphonic Band, Concert Band and or/or Jazz Ensemble.
Scott Hendrickson Memorial Jazz Ensemble Award
This cash award is presented annually with support from Kappa Kappa Psi to a member of the Jazz Ensemble for outstanding achievement in the areas of musicianship, leadership and overall dedication to the Jazz Ensemble.
Jungaleers Memorial Scholarship Endowment
This scholarship program for Jazz Ensemble members was established by former members of the Jungaleers big band as an effort to promote big band music on the Clemson University campus.
John Mann Memorial Grant-in-Aid
This grant-in-aid, sponsored by the Clemson Orange Jam Band, is presented annually to a member of the Jazz Ensemble for overall excellence and contributions to the Jazz Ensemble program.
Mu Beta Psi Award
The Mu Beta Psi Award is awarded annually to an outstanding band member who exhibits exemplary leadership and musicianship, as chosen by the directors.

These scholarships are available to full-time music students who demonstrate the potential for success in the field of music.
The Anne Tribble Pearce Alumni Scholarships
The scholarships are awarded annually to students in the Clemson University band program. Recipients must maintain membership in good standing in Tiger Band during the fall semester and Symphonic Band both semesters of the academic year. Recipients must be residents of South Carolina who have established residency requirements satisfactory to Clemson University and who have (or predict) a 2.0 grade point ratio and carry and maintain at least 12 semester hours of course work each semester. An audition is required, and the award can be renewed each semester.
Tiger Band Outstanding Graduating Senior Award
This cash award, funded by the Clemson University Tiger Band Association, is presented to a deserving senior, as voted upon by graduating Tiger Band seniors each fall.
Chesley and Vera Vincent Scholarship
This scholarship is available to a full-time student in the performing arts who maintains a 2.0 grade point ratio. The recipient is expected to be an example of positive attitude, exemplary musicianship, integrity and character.
Snelgrove Trumpet Endowment
This is presented to an outstanding trumpet student who participates in Tiger Band and Symphonic Band.
Jeanne Willis Turner Memorial Awards
These cash awards are presented annually to the Tiger Band drum majors in recognition of their dedication and service in a leadership role.

Friends of the Brooks Center String Quartet Scholarships
Two violinists, a violist and a cellist are selected by audition each fall to represent the Brooks Center and Department of Performing Arts in concerts and educational programs. Recipients are required to play in the orchestra and take private lessons. The scholarships cover the cost of lessons and provide a stipend.

One scholarship is awarded to a string player for participation in the Symphony Orchestra while the others are given to wind, brass and/or percussion players for joint participation in the Clemson University Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Band. Auditions are required, and scholarships may be renewed each semester. Recipients are expected to be examples of exemplary musicianship, positive attitude, integrity and character, as chosen by the instrumental music faculty.
Elizabeth Peace Stall Outstanding Woodwind Player Grant-in-Aid
One $500/year scholarship is available, by audition, to a woodwind player for private lessons with a Clemson University adjunct professor. Membership in the Symphony Orchestra is required.
Mu Beta Psi Award
The award is presented annually to a member of the Clemson University Symphony Orchestra who exhibits outstanding leadership and musicianship, as chosen by the director.
The Eaton-Freeman Piano Competition Award
This cash award is given to the competition winner in honor of the musical contributions of Lena Brayton Eaton and Carrie Hutchins Freeman to the Clemson community.
Stevenson Performing Arts Program
Through a generous gift by Dr. and Mrs. Jack Stevenson, former director of the Clemson Honors College, this endowment provides grant-in-aid support to talented guitar students. Selection is based on attitude and commitment to guitar study.
Vincent Scholarships Endowment -- Piano
This scholarship is available to full-time students with a minor in music who maintain a 2.5 grade point ratio and serve as accompanists for choral ensemble(s). The recipients are expected to be examples of positive attitude, exemplary musicianship, integrity and character, as chosen by the instrumental music section faculty.
