Audition Details - Clemson Players and University Dance Company
Clemson Players
Auditions for THE HOUSE OF BERNARDA ALBA by Fredrico Garcia Lorca and adapted by Emily Mann, directed by Kerrie Seymour, will be held on Sunday and Monday, August 23th and 24th, from 6 - 9 p.m. in the Bellamy Theatre. At least 13 women are needed. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the text. If possible, auditioners should also prepare a 1-2 minute dramatic monologue (though this is not required). No prior experience is necessary. The script is available as an electronic resource on the Clemson Library's website. University Dance Company
The University Dance Company (DANCE 330) will have Auditions on Thursday, August 20th at 11:00 a.m. in the Dance Studio (Room 220) at the Brooks Center. The studio will be open 45 minutes prior to the auditions for dancers to warm-up. Dancers should come prepared to learn 2 combinations for the auditions. This course is designed of offer students the opportunity to learn and perform choreography at an intermediate to advanced level. Company members will meet twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:00 - 12:15, and will perform in an annual recital to be held at the Brooks Center. For more information, contact Cheryl Hosler.
