Applied Music Faculty

Professor Matthew Anderson, Trombone/Low Brass

Professor Matthew Anderson teaches trombone in the Department of Performing Arts. He holds degrees from Interlochen Arts Academy, Northwestern University and has studied at Arkansas State University. He is the bass trombonist in many area orchestras, along with chamber music and jazz ensemble groups. Prof. Anderson has performed with such as artists as Ramsey Lewis, The Four Tops, and the Temptations.
