Professor Hazen Bannister, Jazz Piano

Professor Hazen Bannister teaches jazz piano in the Department of Performing Arts. Hazen studied piano at Lander College, Berklee College of Music, and with Tony Castelano, pianist with Sonny Stitt. Prof. Bannister served as an instructor of piano, and jazz studies at the University of South Carolina-Upstate. He has toured and recorded with many national acts since the seventies. Prof. Bannister is a first call studio musician and live performer in the Southeast.
