Prof. Paul Savas, LecturerPaul Savas

Professor Paul Savas is an arts administrator, actor, director, educator, fight choreographer, and a lecturer of theatre in the Department of Performing Arts. Prof. Savas produced his first playh in middle school and never looked back, performing and producing plays from Seattle to New York City. Currently, he serves as the executive director and artistic director of Warehouse Theatre in Greenville, South Carolina.

Prof. Savas has a Master of Fine Arts in Acting degree from the University of Texas-Austin and is member of Actor's Equity Association, the Screen Actor's Guild, and the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers.

He has taught at the State University of New York-Oswago, the American of Musical and Dramatic Academy in Manhattan, Emory & Henry College, William Paterson University, and California State University-Northridge, to name a few.

Acting highlights include a short film with F. Murray Abraham, two years with the National Theatre of the Deaf, and performing with the Philadelphia and Boston symphony orchestras in the Hopeful Monster's production of Stravinky's The Soldier's Tale.
