Piano Day at Clemson University!
The Clemson University Department of Performing Arts is hosting Piano Day on Saturday, May 19, at the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts.
High school and middle school students (6th-12th grades) who have taken at least two years of lessons will enjoy a variety of recitals, coaching, and enrichment.
The registration deadline is Monday, May 14.

Learn to Play Steel Drums Workshop
Date: Saturday, June 2
Instructor: Dr. Paul Buyer, Director of Percussion
Location: 112 Brooks Center
Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm OR 3:00pm-7:00pm
Workshop fee: $50.00 per person with lunch/dinner included
This hands-on workshop offers participants the opportunity to take part in a steel band rehearsal and learn how to play steel drums. Topics include instruments of the steel band, basic pan technique, instrument construction, steel drum history, and rote learning. In addition, audio and video examples will be presented. Reading music is not required.
