Percussion Ensemble is offered in the spring semester only and is open by audition to all interested students. Members will perform significant works for percussion ensemble including pieces for large and small instrumentation. Many opportunities are available, including training on a variety of percussion instruments, chamber ensemble experience, and concert performance. The ensemble repertoire comprises a wide variety of musical styles, including historic works, world percussion, pop ensembles, novelty pieces, transcriptions, and marimba ensemble. The marimba ensemble is a select group and is featured on percussion ensemble concerts.
