DANCE AT CLEMSON

The Department of Performing Arts sponsors classes in jazz, ballet, modern, and tap.

The performance ensemble is the University Dance Company.

DANCE CLASSES FOR CREDIT

Students receive one hour of academic credit per semester. An applied dance fee is assessed.

Dance 130 - Tap - 12:30-1:45 pm Thursday
Dance 140 - Jazz - 12:30-1:45 pm Tuesday
Dance 150 - Modern - 9:30-10:45 am Thursday
Dance 160 - Ballet - 9:30-10:45 am Tuesday
Dance 330 - University Dance Company (UDC)* -11:00 am-12:15pm Tuesday, Thursday (audition required)

*The University Dance Company (UDC) is designed to offer students the opportunity to learn and perform choreography at an intermediate to advanced level. UDC members meet twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:00-12:15, and perform an annual recital each spring. Auditions are held twice a year - at the beginning of the fall semester and during the spring semester.
