You enjoy music! You've taken classes for several years and even performed in your high school's choir, orchestra, or band. You've thought about majoring in music, but what about career options? Teaching and playing professionally aren't what you had in mind for your future. So, what can you do with a MUSIC degree?

Clemson University's Department of Performing Arts has an excellent option --- an undergraduate degree that develops your interest in music while training you for music-related jobs, such as concert coordinator, sound technician, and instrument sales executive, to name a few. Clemson's Production Studies in Performing Arts program offers a music degree for the real world.

Our music concentration combines performance, music theory, music history, music technology, production, and arts administration within three music emphasis areas --- Instrumental Music, Keyboard Studies, and Choral/Vocal studies --- allowing you to design a course of study specific to your career dreams.
