Clemson University Singers
Description

Clemson University SINGERS is an elite, mixed-voice ensemble of selected auditioned students across all academic majors. As Clemson University's premiere choral ensemble, CU SINGERS performs literature from all stylistic genres while focusing on a cappella selections highlighting its refined blend, rhythmic intensity, and musical maturity. Each year, the choir performs several concerts in the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts, gives several off-campus concerts each semester, and tours regionally each spring.

Each year, Clemson University Singers performs five concerts in the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts, including a Masterworks concert with combined choirs and orchestral accompaniment. In addition, Singers gives several off-campus concerts each semester and tours each spring.

Clemson University Singers rehearses Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:15 until 12:05 in Room 117 of the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts. To enroll, register for MUSIC 3700. Audition information will be emailed at the beginning of each semester to those enrolled.

Audition Notes:  

Auditions will take place on Monday, August 18 and Tuesday, August 19 from 1 - 4:30 pm in the office of the Director of Choral Activities (119 Brooks Center).

The audition will consist of singing "My Country 'Tis of Thee" and some short vocal exercises. Interested students should e-mail Sarah Runge (srunge@clemson.edu) to schedule an audition time.
