Students interested in auditioning for the Clemson University Tiger Band Drumline should contact the Clemson Band Office at 864-656-3380. All perspective percussionists will receive a drumline packet in June containing all audition information, warm-ups, cadences, and music. Auditions are held in mid-August the week before fall classes begin. The drumline consists of 25 members with an instrumentation of 8 snares, 4 quints, 5 bass drums, and 8 cymbals (no pit). The drumline is sponsored by the Yamaha Corporation of America, Sabian Cymbals, Remo Drumheads, and Pro-Mark sticks and mallets. Rich tradition, high standards, and performance excellence are the trademarks of both the Clemson University Drumline and Tiger Band.
