Dr. Linda Dzuris is the University's first carillonneur, performing regularly on the Clemson University Memorial Carillon, a unique instrument that comprises 47 French-made bells located atop the tower of Tillman Hall. Dzuris also serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Performing Arts, where she teaches Applied Carillon and Organ as well as Music Appreciation, Calhoun Honors courses, and other Performing Arts core courses. In addition, she serves on the board of directors of the Guild of Carillonneurs in North America.
As a performer, Dr. Dzuris has given recitals across the United States and in Europe. She holds a Bachelor of Music, a Master of Music and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Organ Performance and Church Music from the University of Michigan. She has also participated in study programs abroad, such as the Romainmoter Summer Institute in Switzerland and the Nederlandse Beiaardschool in Amersfoort, Netherland.
