Three top performing arts students have earned departmental honors for their academic achievements. Jeff McLaren (theatre), Justin Sims (music), and Dan McCoy (audio engineering) each received an Outstanding Student Award in Performing Arts.
Each year, the award is presented to three performing arts majors who, in the estimation of the faculty, have achieved the most outstanding record in the study of performing arts.
The students were recognized during the annual College of Architecture, Arts, and Humanities award ceremony.
Three Production Studies in Performing Arts students received a plaque and a $250 cash award. In addition, their names are permanently displayed on a plaque located in the Department of Performing Arts office.
