The CLIMATE CONNECTIONS 2008 FLL challenge is here! And South Carolina is getting ready to host tournaments for you!
In order to compete in the SC State FLL Tournament at Clemson University’s Littlejohn Coliseum on February 21, 2009 you must qualify at one of the many SC Regional Qualifying Tournaments held across the state. Approximately 40% of all competing teams at any given tournament will advance if, and only if, a team meets the following criteria:
The team must participate and be judged in all aspects of the challenge including robot performance, technical, project, and teamwork.
The team meets all criteria established by FIRST including having only 10 members between the ages of 9 and 14yrs.
Qualification is based on a teams overall champion score which is made up of scores from robot performance, technical, project and teamwork scores.
