
In 2010, Clemson kicked off the Will to Lead campaign, to raise more than $600 million by 2012 to support scholarships and fellowships, fund professorships and endowed chairs, provide programs and services that engage students, improve learning and drive innovation and economic development.
Work was resumed on the construction of the Class of 1956 Academic Success Center building behind the R.M. Cooper Library. The project was started in fall 2008 but delayed because of state budget cuts. This Sustainable Building will attain a LEED Silver Certification.

Nearly 500 Clemson Tigers have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country. They were memorialized during the dedication of the Scroll of Honor Memorial on Thursday, April 22, 2010.
We unveiled the Class of 1960 North Green, which highlights some major milestones in Clemson’s history that happened in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The top of the green features the Transition Monument, which tells the story of four major transitions that took place during this time period: the transition from a military school to a civilian school, the transition from a male school to a co-educational school, the transition from college to a university and the transition from an all-white student body to an integrated one.
