Living-Learning Community

llc-dormThe College of Behavioral, Social and Health Sciences (CBSHS) and the College of Education (CoE) has a Living-Learning Community for our freshmen students!

CBSHS/CoE LLC Mission

Students selected for this program will create relationships that they will carry with them not only throughout their time at Clemson but also into their careers. It is expected that the students chosen to participate in this program have the potential to be outstanding scholars and leaders not only within CBSHS and CoE and its professions, but also for the greater Clemson student body and the communities in which they will serve after graduation.

CBSHS/CoE LLC Goals

The Living-Learning Community will develop leaders through living, learning, serving and playing together by providing them with:

  • The opportunity to plan, implement and evaluate the social and academic activities for the LLC
  • Ongoing exposure to future professions and opportunities for professional development
  • Resources and support to help CBSHS/CoE freshmen excel academically in their first year on campus
  • A consistent, supportive environment for students to "learn through living" in their residence halls through interaction with faculty and peers and service options
  • Regular contact with other students designed to support professional development.
