Kick-Off Clemson is the exciting time when new Clemson students are arriving on campus for the start of their first semester. The programs and events in Kick-Off Clemson are an integral part of your transition to Clemson life and the Clemson Family. These activities and programs occur during your first week on campus to help you make academic and social connections, which will contribute to your success here. At the heart of this program are Clemson’s core values: integrity, honesty and respect.

Tiger Transition: CU 1000 is the next step in your transition as a new Clemson student. It is a pass/fail no-credit course you are taking your first semester. The course requirements include both online and in-person presentations/events. The in-person components begin during Kick-Off Clemson and are included in the schedule below. Kick-Off Clemson on-campus/in-person events for the 2017 spring semester will take place on Tuesday, January 10, 2017.
Convocation and Mission: Transition, 2:00-3:15 p.m., Tillman Auditorium
Community Dialogue Workshops, 3:30-5 p.m., various locations in Hardin Hall, Brackett Hall and Tillman Hall. You can register for your workshop between 12 - 2 p.m. outside of Tillman Hall.
Another aspect of Tiger Transition: CU 1000 is an Aspire to Be Well session, which will begin in mid-January. Session dates and directions re how to sign up will be posted in Canvas and sent to all new students via their Clemson email.
