Tiger Transition: Kick-Off Clemson

Kick-Off Clemson is the exciting time when new Clemson students are arriving on campus for the start of their first semester. The programs and events in Kick-Off Clemson are an integral part of your transition to Clemson life and the Clemson Family. These activities and programs occur during your first week on campus to help you make academic and social connections, which will contribute to your success here. At the heart of this program are Clemson’s core values: integrity, honesty and respect.

NOTE: Kick-Off Clemson events are for students only.

You will be assigned a Welcome Leader, a current undergraduate student who can answer your questions and provide guidance and support during this week of events and activities. You can learn more about your Welcome Leader on Blackboard. They will be contacting you before the semester begins to introduce themselves and to schedule your first group meeting.

Tiger Transition: CU 1000 is the next step in your transition as a new Clemson student. It is a pass/fail no-credit course you are taking your first semester. The course requirements include both online and in-person presentations/events. The in-person components begin during Kick-Off Clemson and are included in the schedule below. You can review more information by visiting the Academic Success Center website on the page, Tiger Transition: CU 1000.

The schedule is listed below; for easier access, download the Clemson Events app. Then select Kick-Off Clemson 2016. It is updated often to provide you with the most current information. Required components of CU 1000 are marked. Here is a schedule that you can download and print.
