Presentation Formats
Students should submit presentations in the medium best suited to their research area (oral presentations, posters, exhibits and models or performances). Students in all fields may choose to present using a visual aid (poster), oral presentation or some combination of the two (PowerPoint during an oral presentation). Students in the visual and performing arts will also have the opportunity to display their work (painting, drawing, sculpture, fabric, etc.) or to perform their works (original music and songs, dances, dramatic readings, etc.).

Prepare a 15-minute presentation. If you have a computer-projected PowerPoint presentation, you will be asked to submit your presentation via e-mail prior to arriving at the conference. In addition, please bring your presentation on a USB memory stick or CD. Arrive at your designated presentation room 30 minutes prior to the first presentation session for that day so that your presentation can be loaded onto the computers. Also have with you a printed copy of your presentation. A question and answer session will follow each presentation.

Poster Presentations
Your poster must be no larger than 3ft x 4ft, oriented either horizontally or vertically on an easel that will be provided for you. If your campus does not have a large poster printer you can have it printed at a local printing/
photocopy company. Alternatively, you may use PowerPoint software to create several 8.5” x 11” sheets of content that can be pinned to the easel's backboard that is 3ft x 4ft.

Exhibits & Models
There will be space for displays of original models (architecture and others), sculptures, ceramic art and other works that can be placed on a table. Easels will be provided for paintings, drawings or other hanging projects. Students should stay with their display for the duration of their assigned display session.

  Performances

Original performances are encouraged and will be accommodated. Incorporation of performances (into evening entertainment or day time sessions) will be determined depending on the number and type of performances submitted by students. Prior to arriving at the conference, please indicate via e-mail the length of the performance and any special equipment that may be required.
