Clemson Doctoral Pathfinder Program

The Clemson Doctoral Pathfinder Program is a 2 ½ day campus visitation program for doctoral students and post-doctoral scholars who are interested in pursuing academic careers and are approximately 1-2 years away from beginning their job search. This program aims to promote diversity among Clemson University’s faculty applicant pool and give scholars an inside look at what life could be like as a faculty member at Clemson. The program includes:

  • Academically focused workshops presented by on campus experts
  • Networking events/meals
  • Meetings with host departments
  • A tour of Clemson’s campus
  • Roundtable discussions
  • Sharing your research

Expenses for travel, lodging, and meals are covered by Clemson University. To apply, please submit an online application, a CV, and an executive summary of your research. For information on how to apply, contact Curtis White at cdwhite@clemson.edu or 864-656-2182.


Program Dates: April 17-20, 2016
Participates will arrive on Sunday, April 17 & depart on Wednesday, April 20th
Application deadline is March 8, 2016
Applicants will be notified by March 18, 2016 of their acceptance
