At the International Conference of Risk Management Professionals held in Scottsdale, Arizona, June 6th, 2008, Ms. Rice was presented the Risk Manager Professional of the Year Award (International) given by the International Association of Insurance Women. Additionally, on March 28, 2009, at the International meeting held in Charleston, South Carolina, Ms. Rice was awarded the T. J. Mims Award of Excellence for Region III. Region III consists of South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Puerto Rico, Bermuda, Mississippi and the United Kingdom.
