The University offers a variety of classroom options.
These are available in a variety of configuarations, locations, and capacitiies. Audiovisual equipment may be reserved.
Smart classrooms have an integrated package of equipment designed for easy use and effective classroom lectures and presentations. All rooms have a PC, VCR, video/data projector, public address system, and capability to connect to an external computer, video, and audio sources. Smart classrooms are located in a variety of locations.
A limited number of classrooms and lounges are available within University Housing. If your group is staying in University Housing, these areas are available at a minimal cost. All classrooms must be reserved through the Housing Summer Programs Office.
A number of options are available for large conference or meeting space.
There are lecture halls located throughout academic buildings that also offer smaller classrooms for break-out sessions.
Several ballrooms are located on campus. A variety of sizes and setups are available.
Originally built in 1891, this beautiful auditorium seats 840. Tillman has dressing rooms, light and sound booths, and lobby exhibition space.
The Brooks Center seats 1,000 in the main proscenium theater, which features computer-controlled lighting and state-of-the-art sound. Also available is a smaller black box theater and recital hall.
A perfect venue for concerts or large conventions, the coliseum features a food court, ticket box office, dressing rooms, and high-tech multimedia equipment. The coliseum seats up to 11,000.
For outdoor venues, the stadium seats from 10,000 to 86,000 and has hosted concerts for groups such as Pink Floyd, the Eagles, the Rolling Stones, and U2. Air-conditioned boxes and concession areas are also available.
With 1,400 acres, Clemson offers many types of social spaces where your group can gather.
The beautiful Carillon Garden is located on East Campus. A gift from the class of 1943, the garden may be used for a variety of outdoor events.
This amphitheater, located in front of the library reflection pool, was a gift from the class of 1915. Full sound setup and catering are available.
Featuring a stage, dance floor, darts, TV's, billiards, bowling lanes, and foosball, Union Recreation Center is the perfect place for a group to unwind. The capacity is 300, with seating available for 100. Alcohol may be served for a private party.
Located in the S.C. Botanical Gardens, the cafe is a great place for an upscale luncheon or garden party. Catering is available, and the cafe seats 24. The patio allows for overflow into the gorgeous outdoor surroundings of the garden.
Offering a sweeping view of the Clemson campus, the penthouse is on the top floor of the Clemson House. This suite features a full kitchen, social areas, and a balcony. It is available for overnight stays as well.
