Clemson's Academic Plan
Moving into the Top 20
Clemson University is working to become one of the top 20 public institutions in the US. In thinking about 2002-2010, we assumed no marked increase in tuition or state funding. Accordingly, we developed a plan that focuses on working smarter, differently, and more efficiently. In other words, we are changing how we operate.
The primary impetus for change and the foundation of Clemson’s Academic Plan is a call to focus our talents, energies and resources on eight broad emphasis areas that foster collaboration and promote the integration of teaching, research and service. Learn more about the emphasis areas.
