The Provost’s Office, in collaboration with the Center for Corporate Learning in Greenville, recently conducted the second Faculty Leadership Development Program. Twenty-five faculty and department chairs, nominated by the College deans and by the Faculty Senate, were identified to participate in the program which was held at the Greenville One Facility. Leadership Development Past Participants

2014 Inaugural Class

Leadership program participants at Clemson University, Clemson South Carolina 2014The Provost’s Office, in collaboration with the Center for Corporate Learning in Greenville, recently conducted a Faculty Leadership Development Program. Twenty-two faculty and department chairs, nominated by the College deans and by the Faculty Senate, were identified to participate in the program which was held at the Greenville One Facility.

The two- and a half-days program in 2014 included speakers Rich Morris (Chief Executive Officer of BMW), Edna Johnson (Senior Vice President of Michelin NA), Steve Nail (Vice President of Hubbell Lighting), John Supra (Director of Information Technology for SCDHHS), and Erin Swann (Senior Associate General Counsel at Clemson University). On the second day of the program, Provost Nadim Aziz issued a Challenge Project to the group. The group divided into teams to deliberate and research solutions, and at the end of two weeks, presented their findings to the Provost.
