MyCLE and Email

What is MyCLE?
MyCLE stands for My Collaborative Learning Environment. MyCLE is the web portal that contains links to Clemson University Applications & Websites, Workgroups and Faculty/Staff Resources. This is also the login screen to our Blackboard Course Management System.

How do I get my Username and Password?
Your Username is automatically created upon HR completing your paperwork. Within 24 Hours of completing your HR paperwork, your username will appear in the online phonebook. Use the search feature to look yourself up. You will find your username in the USERID column.  By default your password is set to the last 5 numbers of your CUID number. Your HR representative provides this number to you when you complete your initial paperwork.

How do I access my e-mail from the internet?
CCIT supports the following web based email options:

Email Forwarding (Students, Faculty/ Staff)
Select the mail forwarding options for your clemson.edu mail usage.

Google Apps for Education (Students / Faculty / Staff )
Google Apps for Education, which includes Google Mail and is hosted by Google, offers custom email addresses with up to 2 gigabytes of storage for each account, search tools, plus instant messaging and calendar tools built into the email interface.

Webmail (Students / Faculty / Staff )
Webmail is a web browser based interface using SquirrelMail, for checking your legacy Clemson email by accessing your mail.clemson.edu accounts.

Xmail ( Faculty / Staff )
Xmail (also called Outlook Web Access — OWA) is a web based interface to the Exchange server for use by faculty and staff that provides a seamless interface for email, calendaring and contacts. Exchange is the fully-supported messaging server for employees.

How do I access Blackboard from the web?
Go to the Faculty and Staff page and click the MyCLE link in the top right menu. Enter your username and password, then click Login.
