When a student selects a university, it is a decision that affects the entire family. Clemson University wants the families of its students to be well-informed and involved.
Clemson University's Parents' Council is a volunteer group that provides parents a voice within the University and a means for serving as Clemson ambassadors in the community. From the original 10 couples in 1991, the Parents' Council has grown to represent more than 5,000 families today. Joining the council is a great way to become active in your student’s Clemson Experience.
Why We Chose Clemson –
From the Parents’ Point of View
”I am so very thankful that Clemson chose our son and he chose Clemson. This is from very pleased parents who will encourage our second son to also attend Clemson. After our official visit to the campus and meeting with everyone from the President to the staff and people who work at Clemson, we were impressed with the professionalism and the sincere spirit of caring. We could tell they genuinely cared for our child. Everyone was so warm and friendly, also accommodating. We would recommend Clemson to anyone who has a student who is considering attending this great institution of higher learning.”
