Welcome to the Bridge to Clemson Program!

The Bridge to Clemson Program (Bridge Program) is a selective academic transfer program offered by invitation only to academically talented first-year students. Becoming part of the Bridge Program provides opportunities for you to connect and engage with your peers as you live on the Clemson campus and take your classes 4 miles away at Tri-County Technical College.

This successful collaboration between Tri-County Technical College (Tri-County) and Clemson allows you to make progress in your intended Clemson major during your first year at Tri-County while preparing to enroll at Clemson beginning your second year.

What Makes the Bridge Program Unique?

The Bridge Program includes dedicated academic advising and student support services within a living-learning program — all of which are designed to help you succeed in meeting Bridge academic requirements and transferring to Clemson while enjoying your first year of college. Bridge Program staff members at both Clemson and Tri-County are committed to providing you with the educational tools and services you need to succeed. Since the program’s launch in 2005, students have successfully met their goals at Clemson and beyond.
