Seventh Annual Conference
January 25-27, 2009

This conference offers a “how-to” approach that focuses on the nuts and bolts of programs with a proven record of success. It consistently attracts many of the country’s top leaders and advocates for black students.

Call for Proposals

Clemson University invites you to share your expertise. Present your school’s best practice programs that help African American students be more successful.

If you have a proven success record, we invite you to submit your paper or presentation on:
  • Recruiting, retaining or graduating black undergraduate and graduate students;
  • Providing support and mentoring services that help black students succeed;
  • Increasing diversity on campus.
Your proposal should not be longer than two pages and should include data and information that demonstrates your program’s effectiveness. By sending us a proposal, you are agreeing to participate in the conference if your proposal is accepted.

Presenters will have travel costs and conference fees covered for one person.
