How do I apply for a Palmetto Pact scholarship?
All students who are accepted for admissions will automatically be considered for Palmetto Pact and other scholarships. There is not a separate application process
When does the program go into effect?
The program goes into effect in the fall semester of 2005 with the incoming freshman class
If I am currently enrolled and am a Palmetto Fellow, will I be eligible for the Palmetto Pact enhanced scholarship?
Since this is a new program, only entering freshmen from South Carolina will be eligible
If I am a Palmetto Fellow and a graduate of the Governor’s School, will I receive both scholarships?
If a student qualifies for more than one Palmetto Pact scholarship, the larger will be awarded
If I have a full scholarship from an outside source, will I still receive a Palmetto Pact award?
Scholarships amounts listed are maximum amounts and may be adjusted depending on other scholarships or grants the student has received.
Are there any special fees associated with the Living/Learning communities?
Some Living/Learning Communities do require additional fees to cover costs of enrichment programs, tutoring and other services.
