This site represents two sections of THRD 480/680 that were delivered via the Internet. Section 444 was comprised of two cohort groups of students enrolled in the Masters of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Online program, specifically the Executives in the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. This program was based on funding from a special grant based in the Strom Thurmond Institute. This course was provided to Cohorts 1 & 2 during the Fall 2003 and Spring 2004 semesters, respectively.

Section 400 was provided to graduate students enrolled in various programs during the Spring 2004 semester.

The sections taught in the Spring 2004 semester included use of Macromedia Breeze Live which allows the instructor and students to engage in synchronous discourse via the Internet. Each of the Breeze Live sessions were recorded and can be viewed from the course site.

Special Notes :

This course was originally delivered using WebCt. Clemson University selected BlackBoard as its course management software in August, 2004 so WebCt no longer houses this site. The pages provided throughout this site may reference WebCt, but all relevant files (except direct student work) is provided in this site.

Many of the files in this site use Macromedia Flashpaper, which is a new alternative to PDF files that require more time to open. If you do not have the Flash Player installed on your computer. you may want to download it here to access the files on this site.
