Russians Visit South Carolina — Oct. 2007

The common theme throughout this program is sharing cultures, including AGRIculture. Co-founder of this program, Dr. Tom Bruening, has invited the Russian students as well as their professors to the states several time in the past. In October 2007, four students from the Spring 2007 program and their professor visited the states. Fortunately there were funds available to bring three of them to South Carolina from Pennsylvania. Maria Mikhailova and Luba Yudina, Seniors at MSAU and Dr. Konstantin Malashenkov, Vice Provost of International Programs and Associate Professor of Agricultural Economics at MSAU.

There were many mutual benefits in bringing the Russians to visit South Carolina (and Clemson) and through following the links below you can learn about their activities.
