PSA Bus and Tour Wagons

PSA has a 13-passenger bus set up for touring, equipped with a screen that will accommodate VHS video and laptop presentations.

The PSA bus may be made available to campus units for use on and around campus for a $100 charge. Units will be responsible for finding a driver with a CDL license, and for having the driver checked out on the bus at the Research Farm Services offices on Cherry Road at the Agricultural Service Center prior to use. Units could also consider hiring an off-duty CAT bus driver. Depending upon availability, Research Farm Services may provide a driver at $20 per hour. Charges will be handled by IDO. The bus may not be used to carry university students.

PSA currently has four tour wagons, each of which will seat 25. These wagons may be pulled singly or two in tandem.

The tour wagons may be made available for a $50 per wagon charge for use on campus when the borrowing unit provides a tow vehicle, such as a pickup or SUV rated at ¾ ton with a 2" receiver. Research Farm Services will provide a pintle hitch. There will be a standard $45.00 per hour charge if Research Farm Services provides a tractor and operator to pull the wagons. Charges will be handled by IDO.
