The Grain Sorghum official variety test is made up of trials planted at several locations throughout the state. When possible multiple-year and multiple-location data are presented which can be used as a basis for variety selection. The locations are as follows: Blackville - Southern coastal plain dry land; Florence - Northern coastal plain dry land;  Newberry - Lower piedmont dry land;   Pendleton -Upper piedmont  dry land.  The data for the current crop year is usually posted in October or November.
