Clemson University, in an attempt to more effectively engage its Alumni and friends in securing its mission to serve the citizens of South Carolina and the general welfare of the country, has established a volunteer group known as Clemson Advocates. The purpose of this program is to enlist and coordinate the efforts of individuals who have expressed or demonstrated an interest in supporting the future vitality of Clemson University. The organization provides access to general information regarding Clemson’s programs, needs, and accomplishments. In addition, the organization provides access to the universities’ legislative priorities, legislation of interest to Clemson, and the opportunity for individuals to become active in contacting legislators on Clemson’s behalf.
