Alumni Association Elects New Officers, Board Members

James A. "Jimmy" Kimbell III of Anderson takes the reins as the president of the Clemson Alumni Association July 1. Ann Harvin Whetstone Hunter of Greenwood will be the president-elect. Both will serve two-year terms. Four new Board of Directors were also named. read more >

Center of Economic Excellence in Health Facilities Completes Funding

President James F. Barker announced Thursday that a $5 million investment by Health Sciences South Carolina completes the funding for the Center of Economic Excellence in Health Facilities Design and Testing. The $5 million matches $5 million in South Carolina Education Lottery Funds allocated to the center through the South Carolina Centers of Economic Excellence (CoEE) program. read more >

CBBS New York City Reception Recap

On Wednesday, May 19, 2010 The College of Business and Behavioral Science hosted the 3rd Annual CBBS Reception at The Yale Club in New York City and invited all Clemson area alumni, parents, and friends. For the second year, the event was planned in conjunction with a marketing class lead by Professors James Gaubert and Mary Anne Raymond. These students were introduced to several companies while studying in New York City for the Maymester. The reception proved to be a wonderful place for attendees to learn more about the College and to be encouraged to engage in networking opportunities as well as advertise internships and become mentors to Clemson students. view photos >
