Tiger Town Bound in Virginia and Maryland

The Clemson Club of Baltimore and Washington, DC held two Tiger Town Bound Freshmen Send-off Parties this summer. Thanks to Michael '91 and Beth '93 Coakley for hosting the Virginia party at their home in Arlington on July 31, and thanks to Guy '82 and Petra Johnson P'13 for hosting the Maryland party at their home in Severna Park on August 7. More than 100 Tigers registered for these two events, including many alumni, current students and local club board members, in addition to the incoming freshmen. Everyone was greeted with Tiger Rags, Clemson pens, stickers and balloons, and the hosts provided wonderful dinners at each party. The incoming freshmen and their parents had an opportunity to speak with the guests about their Clemson experiences, and every alumni and current student offered their top piece of advice to the new Tigers.
