Welcome Back Festival - August, 2008
Downtown Clemson
The Student Alumni Council and the Clemson University Alumni Association hosts the annual Welcome Back Festival in downtown Clemson! Students and the community are invited to the Welcome Back Festival to celebrate the beginning of a new school year at Clemson, learn what the Clemson Community has to offer from local merchants, and reunite with old friends. Everyone is encouraged to buy tickets to trade for items at local merchants tables lining College Avenue. All proceeds from ticket sales go to a scholarship fund. The evening will have guest appearances from Clemson dignitaries, sports teams, choral break-out groups, Clemson cheerleaders and Rally Cats, and of course the Tiger and the Tiger Cub.
