Now that you’ve tossed your tasseled cap, the Clemson Alumni Association would like to welcome you into a new phase in your lifetime as a Tiger. Let us help you answer the question, “What’s Next?” as you navigate a new set of adventures.

Clemson Young Alumni are a growing and active segment of the Clemson Family dedicated to improving and increasing the value of the Clemson degree. The Young Alumni group is open to any graduate of the last 10 years. Participating in Young Alumni activities or serving on the Young Alumni Council are great ways to stay connected with other alumni and with your alma mater.

The primary mission of Clemson Young Alumni Council is to support the goals of the Clemson Alumni Association specifically on matters pertaining to Young Alumni. Clemson YAC exists to connect Young Alumni with the University, assist Young Alumni in the transition from active student to alumnus, facilitate fellowship, personal growth and professional development opportunities for young alumni and formally represent Young Alumni interests to the Clemson Alumni Council.

Primary responsibilities of the Council include general oversight of the programs and initiatives of the Young Alumni Council – specifically the annual Fall Band Party and the Roaring Ten Awards. The Council’s composition consists of up to 10 “at-large” members each of whom serve two-year terms, and area representatives that vary in number depending on active Clemson Club chapters across the country. At-large members apply annually in the Spring for a spot and are selected by the YAC nominating committee. For information about the Council and how you can get involved, contact Aly Friend.
