Clemson University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award the bachelor’s, master’s, education specialist and doctoral degrees. The university is currently preparing for its 2013 decennial reaffirmation of accreditation review by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
Please contact the Commission only if there is evidence that appears to support Clemson University's significant non-compliance with a requirement or standard. Other inquiries, such as admission requirements, financial aid, educational programs, etc., should be addressed directly to Clemson University and not to the Commission.
In addition to institutional accreditation, academic programs may also be accredited through programmatic or "specialized" accrediting agencies.
