Clemson University Assessment Committee

Members of the Assessment Committee with three-year terms include:

• Two representatives from each college
• One representative from the library appointed by the respective deans
• Two representatives from different areas of administration and advancement appointed by the Vice President for Administration & Advancement
• One representative appointed by the Dean of Undergraduate Studies
• Two representatives from Student Affairs appointed by the Vice President of Student Affairs
• One representative appointed by the Athletic Director
• One representative appointed by the Dean of the Graduate School
• One representative appointed by the Vice President for Public Service & Agriculture
• One representative appointed by the Vice President for Research & Economic Development

Members of the Assessment Committee with two-year terms include:

• Two undergraduate students appointed by the Vice President for Student Affairs

Members of the Assessment Committee with a one-year term include:

• One graduate student appointed by the Dean of the Graduate School

Ex-officio Nonvoting Members of the Assessment Committee include:

• The Director of Institutional Assessment
• The staff of the Office of Institutional Assessment
• The Director of Institutional Research

* Other nonvoting members recommended by the committee and appointed by the Provost serve for a one-year term as a resource for the committee.

** The committee elects its own chair for a one-year term from among the faculty and administrative representatives.  The vice-chair is elected annually by the committee and will succeed the chair the following year.  The chair remains as a member of the committee for the year following his or her tenure as chair.
