The Biological Sciences Graduate Student Association (BSGSA) was reformed in 2003 under the advisement of Dr. Alfred “Hap” Wheeler. The organization meets monthly and has organized several social events, travel awards, and fundraisers for biology graduate students.

The purpose of this organization is to provide a means of transmitting important information to members, promote scientific thought and communication skills among members, and to represent the interests of the Biological Sciences
graduate students.
