Teaching

Spring 2009:  At Clemson University, I taught Comparative Physiology (BIOSC 475), which also has a laboratory (BIOSC 476).  This course examined several physiological systems (e.g. neuromuscular, respiratory, and cardiovascular) in a comparative context.   This will also be taught during the Spring of 2010

Summer 2009:  I taught a field course on the biology of fishes at the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre on the northwest coast of Vancouver Island in Canada.  This was a combined lecture and field course focusing on the evolution, ecology, functional morphology, biomechanics, physiology and conservation of fishes in the North Pacific

Fall 2009:  I am currently teaching Ichthyology (BIOSC 477) at Clemson University, which also has a laboratory.

Summer 2010:  I will teach a 3-week class dealing with Comparative Biomechanics at the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre.
