Profile

Cauley most recently served as Associate Vice President for Clemson's Development and Alumni Relations division where she led all internal and external alumni and donor marketing and communication initiatives. Previously, she held the positions of Sr. Business Communications Director and also Product Development Manager for Rockwell Automation where she managed all marketing activity and strategic communication efforts for Dodge and Reliance Electric brand products. Prior to these positions, she served in business-to-business marketing management in the package printing industry and held a business-to-consumer retail marketing position with a regional women's clothier. Cauley has won awards in the commercial marketing sector and has won Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) recognition for the Clemson Alumni mobile app, eNewsletter, annual report and capital campaign marketing strategy implementation. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Clemson University. Since returning to Clemson University as a staff member in 2009, she has executed successful rebranding efforts for both the Alumni Association and Development division, launched new communication vehicles, implemented major website overhauls, executed enterprise-wide social media campaigns and served in numerous board, committee and project management roles. Her work to support the Will to Lead capital campaign was critical in Clemson becoming the first public university with and alumni base their size to achieve $1 billion in private giving. She led the division in planning and executing the University's first Give Day, relaunched Alumni and Giving websites and put in place new communications policies and software to improve quality and effectiveness of alumni and donor communications. She is a graduate of the Rockwell Automation Leadership Institute, the American Council on Education (ACE) Women's Leadership Program and is active in CASE Region III, SC Public Relations Society of America (SCPRSA) and many community and non-profit organizations.
