Who can sign-up to be part of CUBS?
CUBS exists to support first-year Business students. These are the majors CUBS supports - Pre-Business (includes Marketing, Management, Economics B.S., Financial Management, Accounting), Graphic Communications and Economics B.A..

How do I sign-up for CUBS?
You can sign-up for the CUBS program by selecting CUBS as your first choice on your housing application.

Will I get to register for Housing early?
Yes. If you choose to live in a living-learning community like CUBS, you will be able to register for housing before students not selecting a living-learning community on the housing application.

What about roommates?
You may select another freshman as a roommate. If you request a specific roommate, your housing priority will be determined by the earliest admission application date. View more information about roommates.

Does CUBS help support my social transition to campus?
Yes. Academics are critical to your success, and so is fun! Beginning of semester retreat trivia nights, game nights and bowling nights are just a few ways CUBS students have fun and engage with their fellow peers.

Do students in CUBS participate in other clubs and activities?
Yes. CUBS students can participate in organizations all across campus, from athletics to orchestra to Greek life to discipline-specific honors societies.

What does the CUBS fee cover?
CUBS offers a unique range of services and events. The fee helps cover the cost of academic advisor access in the residence hall, workshops, events, leadership development opportunities and unique course offerings. The $400 one-time fee is an all-inclusive fee for participation in the program.
