The C3B annual meeting reports progress on its goal of biotechnical applications at the intersection of engineering and the life sciences. We will report progress toward our implantable biosensors for lactate and glucose monitoring, cell-based biosensors for neurotoxicity screening, biopolymer formulation for implant biocompatibility, DNA biochips for clinical diagnostics and prognosis, brain tumor classification using DNA microarrays, biosensors for urea testing, and our electronic NOSE for physiologic status monitoring.
